Grampian Schools Sportshall Athletics Festival

The Grampian Sportshall Athletics Festival event hosted by Active Schools Aberdeenshire is due to take place on Thursday 19th January from 10.30am – 2.00pm at Aberdeen Sports Village, located on Linksfield Road, Aberdeen, AB24 5RU, in partnership with Active Schools Aberdeen City, Live Life Aberdeenshire and Scottish Disability Sport and Grampian Disability Sport. Arrival and Welcome from 10.30am.
Sportshall Athletics is an indoor programme of adapted athletics activities which is fully inclusive. Events include Speed Bounce, Javelin, Shuttle Runs, Target Throw, Standing Long Jump, Hi-Stepper, Seated Chest Push and with additional Relays at the end.
You are invited to enter primary and secondary school pupils from Primary 5 upwards who have physical, learning and/or sensory disabilities to take part in the event.
The event is free to enter but children are required to bring a packed lunch, snacks and water with them. As this is a Grampian event, we are expecting a high number of entries so please complete and return the 2023 Grampian Sportshall Athletics Festival Entry Form to DisabilitySport@aberdeenshire.gov.uk as soon as possible and by no later than Friday 13th January 2023
