Pupils will enjoy taking part in a range of games and drills to develop their skills and take part in friendly, competitive games with others in wheelchair basketball and Inclusive Zone Basketball.
This event is suitable for all primary-aged pupils who have physical, sensory (visual and hearing) and learning disabilities.
Pupils with disabilities or additional support needs from primary schools in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City & Moray are welcome to attend. The event is a partnership programme between Active Schools, Grampian Flyers Wheelchair Basketball Club, Scottish Disability Sport & Grampian Disability Sport.
Pupils should be accompanied by school staff or a parent/guardian during the session and all pupils should take snacks, drinks, lunch and any medications they may need during the event.
Pupils should wear comfortable sports clothing including clean trainers.
Please note that data will be shared between Grampian Disability Sport, Scottish Disability Sport, Active Schools Aberdeen, Active Schools Aberdeenshire, Active Schools Moray, Grampian Flyers Wheelchair Basketball Club & Sport Aberdeen for the purposes of planning the event. Data will not be shared with any wider organisations.
