This event is open to pupils with physical, vision, hearing and learning disabilities from schools across Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
It is restricted to those who are not yet able to swim a length of the pool in a recognised stroke unaided. Swimmers may use swimming aids, helpers in the water (for stability/safety – swimmers cannot be pulled across the pool) and can walk along the pool floor. Races will be in widths. Rules on stroke technique will be relaxed.
Spaces are restricted and bookable on a first-come-first-served basis.
This event is offered as a partnership between Grampian Disability Sport, Live Life Aberdeenshire, Aberdeenshire Active Schools, Aberdeen Active Schools and Scottish Disability Sport, and is kindly supported by Inverurie Youth Sports Foundation.
There is no cost to participate. Please book your place via the Eventbrite link below.
Swimmers must be accompanied by a parent/carer/coach and should bring any supporters that they need in the water.
Data will be shared between the aforementioned partners for the purpose of organising and running the event. Data will not be shared outwith the partners.
